I have long shared the opinion that investing in SOME products is reallyyyy worth the extra money. Blow dryer is a perfect case. I have very thick hair. No matter short or long, drying is a timely process(I can go to bed w wet hair and still have damp hair in the morning)and hard for me and obviously hard on my dryer. From age 13-18 I think I bought a dryer almost every 12months(give or take) and in 2005 finally bit the bullet and bought a Chi blow dryer for 100$ which was even more insane 5yrs ago! I have yet to buy another dryer! My hair has only gotten longer and more time consuming and this dryer has always cut time down. Every single person that has ever used my dryer is amazed by the amount of time cut off. I promise, it is worth every single penny!

Facials can do things to your skin that you would absolutely never be able to achieve on your own. If you live relatively close to s major city you should be able to find a cosmetology school that offers services for much cheaper. I live in Dallas and we have an aveda insitute that offers facials at 30,60, and 90min starting at 20$ which is enough time to do well. I can't explain how much good it does to actually get the bacteria OUT of your pores, and the results are amazing. If your not willing to take the time to wash every night or spend slightly extra, I started with drug store products and eventually moved on to clinique, it's not the most expensive products but my no means am I ever buying all products at once. I used what I had and bought new from there. And since I have suffered from acne on and off since 13, I can say with all honesty spending 14$ rather than 7$ on a cleanser or eliminating one night if eating out or not going to a regular saturday movie, or going without a manicure for one week to "splurge" on a 40$ facial(which not only is good for me but is relaxing, and gives me much needed pampering for an hour not to mention) I will be buckling down and making that sacrifice. I really enjoyed your article! And you are spot on! I feel like I'm listening to someone over weight complain about gym prices knowing that cutting out on desert once a week would jump start weight lose, giving "thin"-spiration and thus adding money to their budget for a gym membership.

Do you know that the two Redken products you listed have denatured alcohol as their primary ingredient? Denatured alcohol is worse than regular alcohol since it contains dangerous and poisonous additives. Google it and you will see:
"Denatured Alcohol is a gentle, multi-purpose solvent, which is essential for thinning shellac and cleaning brushes"
and
"Denatured alcohol is ethanol to which poisonous and foul-tasting chamicals have been added to make it unfit for drinking."
Just wanted to share <3

I'm really intrigued by the Pureology product! I will try it when I get the chance!

sulfur really works, it's one of the 1st antibiotics that was ever used to treat acne. I've used it as a cream before and it had pretty positive effects on my skin.

This is the appropriate blog for anybody who wants to seek out out about this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would need…HaHa). You undoubtedly put a new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!

It sounds like this lotion for oily skin has a lot of quality ingredients. I just checked out the website, and the cost is a little insane… $120.00! Holy cow! They should definitely sell sample packets so that people can try it out first to see if they like it. In the past, I’ve collectively spent probably a thousand dollars looking for products for oily skin, most of which did absolutely nothing. This would be worth the cost if it did actually soak up oil for a long time. Right now, my current go-to product is the Mattify Cosmetics powder. It has cleared up all my acne and stops my face from getting shiny for almost half the day. But um, this costs like $15 bucks and works great. Sooo… don’t know if I’ll be trying this expensive product any time soon, but I would be grateful if the company would offer low cost samples. If it works for me, I would consider buying the full size.
